Bushmans Recycling Centre is a drop-off and collection point for recyclable material. Our future plans include becoming a buy-back centre.

 

The mission of the Bushmans Recycling Centre is to maximise the recycling material recovery from waste generated in our area via a local facility, employing local people.

​

In 2024 there was a management change and, subsequently, there are a number of additional changes taking place as we build stronger relationships within our community, increasing the chances of the centre being a viable entity.

​

The viability of our recycling centre is completely dependant on the support we receive from our local community. By ensuring all recyclable materials come to us, you are helping us to divert waste from the Alexandria landfill, and are also playing a crucial role in offsetting our high transport costs and maximising the volume of recyclable materials we handle. The more material we receive, the greater our capacity to generate revenue, which allows us to pay our hard-working staff, cover our fuel costs and maintain our equipment. Your involvement is vital in driving our mission forward and making a positive environmental impact.
